1. Information We Collect
Tiger Lock does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal information. The extension works locally inside the user's Chrome browser profile.
2. Password Data
The extension does not store the plain text password. Password information is stored locally in Chrome extension storage as a cryptographic hash used only to validate unlock attempts.
3. How We Use Information
Locally stored data is used only to provide core extension functionality, including locking, unlocking, and password changes.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share user data with third parties. Tiger Lock does not send browsing activity, passwords, or personal information to our servers.
5. Data Storage
All extension data is stored locally by Chrome on the user's device. Removing the extension or clearing the Chrome profile may remove stored extension data.
6. Permissions
The extension may request permissions needed to display the lock screen and manage local lock state. These permissions are used only for the extension functionality.
7. Security Notice
Tiger Lock provides an additional browser-layer lock. It should not be considered a replacement for operating system user accounts, device encryption, administrator policies, or enterprise device management.
